Identity Work for Citizen Journalist Training
The training of the 3-day workshop aims to teach how to deliver the news that wouldn’t be posted by the mainstream media through citizen journalists. I designed a visual identity for them. The statement of the workshop organizers about the training was as follow: 'If they don't see, hear, or choose to ignore, MAKE YOUR OWN NEWS'. The first part was about the media not seeing a lot of news; here using a character, I made a comperison to “three monkeys movement”. Then with the help of the same character representing the future citizen journalists I asked about the gains of this workshop. To answer this question I used items that represent learning like recorder, camera, notebook etc. Within the framework of the project, Social Media advertisements were made, participants ID cardsand certificates of participation were also designed. In addition visuals and posters were designed to be used for the place the workshop will be held.
